RedmiBook 14 II and RedmiBook 16 With 10th Gen Intel CPUs And Nvidia Graphics Announced

Slowly and steadily, Xioami is entering the international laptop market and competing against the big players like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, and many others by offering feature-packed laptops at a competitive price point. As you might know, back in May Xiaomi introduced the new RedmiBook 14 II and the RedmiBook 16.

These laptops were powered by Ryzen 4000 APUs. The Intel 10th Gen 10nm ‘Ice Lake’ processor will power the newly launched laptops and they are meant to replace the old Ryzen Xiaomi laptops.

So here’s everything you need to know about the new RedmiBook 14 II and the premium RedmiBook 16.

RedmiBook 14 II: Features & Pricing

The design language of every business-oriented or home usage Xiaomi laptop has been clean and minimalistic. Well, the Intel-powered RedmiBook 14 II is no exception. This compact 14-inch laptop features an FHD panel with an amazing screen-to-body ratio of 90.6%. One of the major highlights of this display is 100% sRGB support which makes it ideal for color-sensitive photo and video editing work.

RedmiBook 14 II is available in two different configurations. One of the variants is powered by 1 GHz Intel Core i5-1035G1 and the other one is powered by a more powerful 1.3GHz i7-1065G7 processor.

As far as GPU is concerned, both the i5 and i7 variants are equipped with 2GB DDR5 NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU. The second-generation RedmiBook 14 comes with either 8GB or 16GB of soldered RAM and there’s a 512GB SSD in each variant of the laptop.

40Wh battery of this laptop supports 65W Type-C fast charging. Surprisingly, this ultrabook just weighs 1.3 KG which makes it profoundly portable. RedmiBook 14 II is available in only silver color variant and the pricing of different configurations is shared below.

The second-gen RedmiBook 14 is presently launched in China. As of now, Xiaomi hasn’t shared any information about the launch of this laptop in the international markets.

RedmiBook 16: Features & Pricing 

Apart from the obvious changes in the display size the RedmiBook 16 is almost similar to the RedmiBook 14. As its name suggests, the RedmiBook 16 features a 16.1-inch FHD display with a max brightness of 300 nits. The 16-inch RedmiBook is also powered by either 1 GHz Intel Core i5-1035G1 or the 1.3GHz i7-1065G7 processor.

RedmiBook 16 comes with a standard 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM coupled with 512GB of SSD storage. Both these laptops come with Windows 10 Home pre-installed and as for ports, they have one USB 3.1 Gen1 port, one USB 2.0, two USB-C ports, and one HDMI 1.4. Furthermore, these laptops feature 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack and they come with 2x 2W speakers.

It is worth noting that, the 16-inch RedmiBook has a bigger 46Wh battery and it weighs 1.8 KG. This device is available in Gray color variant and the pricing of the different variants of RedmiBook 16 are shared below.
