Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has helped the Chinese tech giant to establish a stronghold in the Indian mid-range smartphone market and today Xiaomi has unveiled the latest addition to the series namely Redmi Note 9. As you might know, the smartphone was already launched for the global market. In comparison to the global market, Xiaomi has priced the Redmi Note 9 a bit cheaper in India.

Additionally, there’s an 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. This mid-range smartphone features a Fingerprint sensor, IR sensor, and it comes with P2i coating which makes the smartphone splash resistant. For those wondering, yes there’s still a 3.5mm audio jack on this device. The Redmi Note 9 will be available in Pebble Grey, Arctic White, and Aqua Green color variants. This smartphone will retail for a price of Rs. 11,999 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage costs Rs. Rs. 13,499. Lastly, the higher-end variant with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage retails for a price of Rs. 14,999.
