Upcoming Redmi K30 Ultra Could Be Powered By A Mediatek SoC

The K-Series from Xiaomi’s Redmi subbrand has helped the Chinese tech giant to establish a stronghold in the international mid-range smartphone market. Even in 2020, Xiaomi has launched many K-series mid-range and lower-end flagship smartphones, Redmi K30 Pro being one of the latest among the bunch. Thanks to some reliable leeks, we now have some information about the upcoming member of the K30 smartphone series namely the Redmi K30 Ultra.

The existence of Redmi K30 Ultra was spotted in a recent build of MIUI 12. “Cezanne” is the codename used for the Redmi K30 Ultra smartphone.

Redmi K30 Ultra: Expected Specifications

Due to the code snippet within MIUI 12, we now know that Redmi’s K30 Ultra will be powered by the Dimensity 1000 (MT6889) processor. As you might know, none of the Redmi K30 series smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity series. Which makes the K30 Ultra the first one on the list.

Additionally, this upcoming smartphone will sport a 120Hz ultra-high refresh rate display making it an ideal device for gamers.

Cezanne

Furthermore, a few days ago a Xiaomi smartphone with model number M2006J10C passed through 3C certification revealing support for 33w fast charging. Consequently, M2006J10C could be the upcoming K30 Ultra smartphone. Cezanne aka K30 Ultra will sport a quad rear camera setup. There will be a primary 64MP sensor on this device. As of now, not much information is available about the actual specifications of this 64MP sensor.

In order to improve the screen to body ratio, this smartphone will pack up a pop-up front-facing camera module. Lastly, K30 Ultra might pack a 4500 mAh battery.

We can expect, the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra to launch in either the third or the fourth week of July in China. This post will be updated as soon as we get more information on this device.
