Poco has just expanded its mid-range smartphone lineup by launching the feature-packed Poco M2 Pro. Targeted towards the competitive mid-range smartphone market of India, at first glance the Poco M2 Pro seems to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The new member of Poco M-series sports a premium construction and both the front and rare side of the device are protected with Gorilla Glass 5. This mid-range smartphone houses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD display on this smartphone is ideal for media consumption. That said if Poco had opted for an AMOLED panel the device would have been a much better offering.
The punch-hole display houses the front-facing camera and it even helps the device attain a screen-to-body ratio of 84.46 %.
Snapdragon 720G chipset powers this smartphone. This SoC can effortlessly handle regular day to day tasks and the Adreno 618 GPU can handle long gaming sessions. Poco M2 Pro will be available in 4GB / 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM variants and the device will 64GB/128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage. Luckily, the storage can be expanded to up to 256GB with microSD.

The Poco M2 Pro will be available in Out of the Blue, Green and Greener and Two Shades of Black color variants. This smartphone will retail for a price of Rs. 13,999 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage costs Rs. 14,999. Lastly, the higher-end variant with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage retails for a price of Rs. 16999.
