Lenovo has finally officially announced its long-awaited First Gaming Phone, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel. The phone is packed with several top of the charts features and a very unique side Pop-Up selfie camera. The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC along with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The phone also gamer-centric features such as ultrasonic trigger buttons, dual vibration engines, dual liquid-cooling, and many more.

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel Features and Specifications
The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel features a 6.65-inch full-HD+ (2,340×1,080 pixels) AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The display also has a 240Hz Touch Samling Rate and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC along with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. For storage, the phone has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage variant.
In terms of camera, the phone comes with a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera at the back is a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.89 aperture. The secondary camera in place is a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front is a side pop-up camera which helps the gamers to live stream while playing on the landscape mode. The sensor is a 20-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel runs on Android 10 paired with the ZUI 12 specifically designed for the phone and is also being called Legion OS. The OS has been customized in order to assist the gamers. It has several Software-Level customizations to make the gaming experience easier like Horizontal UI to help to play and to interact with other gamers in landscape mode easily.
The phone also has 6 customized layout themes with each of them having different user interfaces, icon packs, and colors. There is also support to cast the screen onto a screen, attaching an external keyboard or mouse or other accessories as well.
Another interesting functionality in place in the software is Legion Assistant which enables the user to use the joystick and also enables several gamepad controls on the phone. There’s also Audio To Vibration functionality in place which can analyze audio directional signals to trigger associated vibrations.
The microphone in place in the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel is four noise-cancellation microphones which will help the users record audio/ video or stream games at a much more enhanced audio experience. The phone has dual front stereo speakers. The phone also has a dual ultrasonic shoulder key along with dual x-axis linear motors and 3D motion sensors for assisting the gaming experience.
For managing heating due to hardcore gaming, the phone has dual liquid-cooling along with copper tubes which are said to maintain the temperature of the device. Not only will it help in reducing the phone to dissipate heat but also reduce heat generation in the first place.
For connectivity, the phone has various options like 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and two USB Type-C ports located at the side and bottom. The sensors in place the device is an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and an ultrasonic sensor along with the in-display fingerprint reader.
The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel packs a dual 2,500mAh battery with a total of 5,000mAh of battery output. The phone also supports the ultra-fast 90W Turbo Charge. It is said to provide a 50% charge in 10 minutes and fully charge the phone is just 30 minutes.
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel Pricing and Availability
Lenovo hasn’t revealed any details regarding the global pricing of the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel yet. The pricing in China for the cheapest 8 GB RAM + 128 GB variant is CNY 3,499 (approx Rs. 37,300). The 12 GB RAM + 128 GB variant will be sold for CNY 3,899 (approx Rs. 41,500) while the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB variant has been priced at CNY 4,199 (approx Rs. 44,750). While the most expensive variant is the 16 GB RAM + 256 GB which will be available for CNY 5,999 (approx Rs. 63,910). The phone will be sold in Blazing Blue and Vengeance Red color options.
The phone will be available in China by the end of this month. However, there is no information regarding the global launch date of the device. It is also going to be sold in select markets across the globe. The USA is one of the notable countries where the phone won’t be sold going by Lenovo’s current plans.
