Lenovo Legion 5 And IdeaPad Gaming 3 Laptops With Ryzen 4000H APUs Announced

Similar to every other laptop brand out there, Lenovo has also started adopting the powerful Ryzen 4000H APUs for its gaming laptops. The latest additions to Lenovo’s gaming laptop folio are the Lenovo Legion 5 and IdeaPad Gaming 3. These gaming laptops are available in several configurations and they will be launched in the month of July and September respectively.

Lenovo Legion 5: Specifications And Pricing

As the title of this article suggests, the highest-end variant Lenovo Legion 5 will be powered by the octa-core Ryzen 7 4800H processor. This 17.3-inch gaming laptop will feature a 144 Hz FHD display with Dolby Vision HDR compatibility. Additionally, there will also be a 120 Hz FHD display variant of this professional gaming laptop.

As for graphics, the Legion 5 can be maxed out to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. The laptop can be configured with a maximum of 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe SSD. Users can also opt for the Lenovo Legion 5P for increment in RAM. Some of the major highlights of this gaming laptop are 4-zone RGB system backlighting, Legion Coldfront 2.0 thermal solution, and Dual Burn support.

The base variant of the Lenovo Legion 5 retails for a price of $1089.99 (roughly Rs. 81,730). Presently, the laptop is US exclusive but Lenovo might launch the gaming laptop in other international markets by the end of this year.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3: Specifications And Pricing

Unlike the aforementioned laptop, Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is a mid-range gaming laptop. This gaming laptop features a standard 15.6-inch FHD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. IdeaPad Gaming 3 can also be configured with Ryzen 7 4800H processor. However, the max GPU option for this laptop is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU.

As for RAM and storage, the laptop comes with up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The base variant of this gaming laptop will retail for a price of $659.99 (roughly Rs. 49,487).
