Xiaomi smart bands are successful from the very first band they launched, Now its time for another new smart band from the company which is Mi Band 5. The upcoming band will be the successor of Mi Band 4.
A few days ago, a leaked about the band suggested feature like SpO2. But there are major images leak now which shows the full design and look of the upcoming smart band.
Surprisingly, the above images show a large display and a new charger. The new Mi Band 5 will apparently feature a “plug-in” form of design. Despite a new flatter finish, the design appears to remain intact. It may be a matter of context, of course, but it looks somewhat flatter than its predecessor. There are more noticeable curves in Mi Band 4.
As per the leaks from Weibo, the price of the Mi Band 5 will be around CNY 200 (approx. 2,100).
As per the sources, the upcoming band will feature NFC on their International version. Noticeably, in predecessor NFC feature has been something exclusive to the Chinese variant of the band. In addition, AI assistant support will feature the latest watch with Amazon’s Alexa deep integration.
Another leak suggests, the existence of both a menstrual cycle tracking feature and a SpO2 reader. The SpO2 could read the blood’s oxygen saturation level. In these days, it is quite a useful and fascinating feature plagued by the Coronavirus. It’s speculated that this year’s smart band will launch in June or July.
