Vivo Y3 With Gradient Design, 5000mAh Battery Launched

On Monday, Vivo launched its new smartphone, ‘Vivo Y3’ in China. The smartphone is part of Vivo Y series. The specification of this smartphone is quite similar to Vivo Y17 which was launched in India last month.

The main highlights of this smartphone are a Gradient Back Design, Triple Rear Camera, 5000mAh Battery and 18W fast charging.

Vivo Y3: Price, Sale Date

• Vivo Y3 price is CNY 1,498 (roughly Rs. 15,100) for the 4GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant. It will come in Peacock Blue and Peach Pink colour options.
• The smartphone will be available for purchase via JD.com starting today i.e. May 20 in China.
• Availability and price in India are yet to be announced.

Vivo Y3: Specifications and Features

Now coming to the specifications, Vivo Y3 sports a 6.35-inch Display with 19.3:9 aspect ratio and HD+ (720×1544 pixels) resolution. Based on Android 9.0 Pie on the top of FunTouch OS 9, the phone runs on 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM option. The smartphone has the support of Dual-SIM (nano+nano).

In optics, there is a triple camera setup, the first camera includes a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, the second camera includes a 2MP depth sensor and the third camera includes an 8MP ultra wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

On the front, there is a 16MP sensor. The phone has LED flash on the back.

When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 128GB internal storage with microSD support upto 256GB. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack and Micro USB port. The sensors on board the handset are an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, magnetometer and rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Vivo Y3 battery capacity is 5000mAh with the support of 18W Dual-Engine fast charging. The handset measures 159.43×76.77×8.92mm and weighs 190.5 grams.
