Honor View 20 With ‘Punch-Hole’ Camera Launched

On Tuesday, Honor launched ‘Honor View 20’ smartphone at an event held in Paris. The smartphone is the global variant of Honor V20 which was launched last month in China.

The main highlights of the smartphone are Display hole front camera, 48MP rear camera and 4,000 mAh battery.

Honor View 20: Price, Sale Date

• Honor View 20 price is EUR 569 (roughly Rs. 46,110) for the 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant. It will come in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colours.
• Honor View 20 Moschino Co-Design Edition price is EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 52,590) for the 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage variant. It will come in Phantom Blue and Phantom Red colours.
• Honor View 20 will be available starting Wednesday, January 23 in 18 countries, including India.
• Pricing for India is yet to be announced on January 29. Pre-orders already started on HiHonor Store and Amazon.in.

Honor View 20: Specifications and Features

Now coming to the specifications, Honor View 20 sports a 6.4-inch LCD IPS Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ (1080×2310 pixels) resolution. It has 91.82 percent screen-to-body ratio. Based on Android 9.0 Pie on the top of Magic UI 2.0, the phone runs on 2.6GHz Huawei Kirin 980 processor with Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It comes with 6GB/8GB RAM option. The smartphone has the support of Dual-SIM.

In optics, there is a dual rear camera setup, the first camera includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and the second camera includes a TOF 3D sensor. On the front, there is a 25MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone has LED flash on the back.

When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 128GB/256GB internal storage (there is no microSD card slot). Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C. The sensors on board the handset are accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Honor View 20 battery capacity is 4,000mAh with the support of 22.5W fast charging. The measures 156.9×75.4×8.1mm and weighs 180 grams.

5. PC Mode, allowing the smartphone to be used with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
6. ‘AI Video Editor’ app for video editing as well as ‘AI Shopping’ for visual search tech.
7. Sony IMX586 1/2-type (8.0 mm diagonal) rear sensor uses 4-in-1 light fusion that outputs better low-light images at 12MP resolution.
8. Secondary rear camera features 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor to capture the depth of an image, providing several 3D and beautification applications. It also lets you play games using 3D gesture recognition by capturing body movements
9. Other camera features include 960fps slow-motion video recording support, autofocus, AI HDR.
