With the latest teaser, YU is once again hitting on the OnePlus 2. The tweet reads, “Big batteries, small charging capabilities. 3 hours wasted. #whysettle #Raisethebar.” The photo hints that Yutopia is set to come with Qualcomm’s Quick-Charge feature, something that the OnePlus 2 lacks.

From one of the previous teasers, we’ve learned that the Yutopia is set to come with metal unibody design and chamfered edges. Other teasers hinted that the smartphone is expected to come with a QHD display and expandable storage option.
It is important to note that all smartphones that YU has released so far are priced well under Rs 10,000. However, the Yutopia could be the company’s first smartohone to break that price barrier (Rs.21,449). YU has also mentioned on its website that unlike other smartphones, the Yutopia won’t be sold via flash sales.
YU Yutopia specifications and features: Based on the Geekbench leak that we’ve come across, the Yutopia is expected to come equipped with a 5.2-inch QHD display. It could be powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM.
For casual photographers, the Yutopia is expected to sport a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. While there is no word on the battery capacity, usual set of connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS are expected to be present. The smartphone ship with CyanogenMod 12 OS based Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
While there aren’t enough details the launch date and availability, we’ll keep our readers posted about the same. Till then, stay tuned.
