PFD Context
HP’s dual rollout of the OmniBook 5 and ProBook 4 G2iS reflects a concerted industry push to standardize OLED display panels across everyday consumer and enterprise price tiers. By delivering vibrant 100% DCI-P3 panels in ultra-lightweight sub-1.2kg chassis, HP addresses long-standing creator demands for color fidelity on the move. However, with the OmniBook 5’s Intel Core 5 NPU capped at 16 TOPS, buyers should note that local on-device Microsoft Copilot+ AI features will rely partially on cloud acceleration rather than purely autonomous on-chip execution.
