Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Teased to Launch in India soon

Samsung Galaxy A52, Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, and Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphones were announced in March. Apparently, the A52 and A72 were launched in India in the same month but the Galaxy A52 5G is not yet launched in India and there are rumors that it may launch this month.

As per the report, Samsung has laid the foundation to build the firmware for the Indian version of Galaxy A52 5G, teasing that the launch may as soon as possible. Recently, the Galaxy A52 5G got certification from India’s BIS certification platform.

Expected Price in India

The official launch date of the Galaxy A52 5G is not known yet. As the phone’s firmware is being developed, the phone may arrive soon in India. The pricing of the smartphone is expected to be approximately Rs. 5,000 higher than the non 5G variant, as there will be upgrades in display, processor, and connectivity.

At the time of launch, the Samsung Galaxy A52 was priced at Rs. 26,499 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage capacity variant and Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Considering the price of the non 5G variant, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G may be priced above Rs. 30,000. There is no official confirmation on a specific launch date for the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

In the non-Indian variant, the color options that were available for the Galaxy A52 5G were Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White. The same options would be available in India as well.

Expected Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G flaunts a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has an octa-core Snapdragon 750 SoC processor. The phone will be made available in two configurations –  8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity. Both the variants support storage expansion via microSD card up to 1TB. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 Operating System with One UI 3.1.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has a rear quad camera configuration that includes a 64MP primary sensor, along with a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. For selfies, The Galaxy A52 5G has a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 lens.

The phone is packed with a 4,500mAh Type-C 25W fast charging battery which can deliver up to two days of power on a single charge. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 5G bandwidths, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has stereo speakers and it is IP67 water and dust resistance.
