Realme has launched the Realme X7 Max 5G smartphone in India. The phone has launched through an online event earlier today. The phone comes with a triple camera setup on the back along with being powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The smartphone is a rebadged Realme GT Neo that was launched back in March in China. Alongside the smartphone, Realme also launched the Realme Smart TV 4K in the country.
Realme X7 Max 5G Specifications And Features
The Realme X7 Max 5G features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display having a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, a peak brightness of 1,000nits, a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and a screen to body ratio of 91.7%. The panel provided by Realme also comes with a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1.
The phone runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC coupled with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. Realme also provides up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
Coming to the optics, the phone has a triple camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 64-Megapixel sensor having an aperture of f/1.8. It also has an 8-Megapixel Ultrawide camera lens having a field of view of 119-degree and an aperture of f/2.3. Lastly, it also has a 2-Megapixel Macro camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the phone has a 16-Megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.5 to take selfies and attend video calls.
The connectivity options provided in the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has an in-display fingerprint reader as well. Other sensors onboard the smartphone are an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
The company has also said the phone has a stainless steel vapor cooling system, Realme’s proprietary technology that is claimed to have a 42 percent higher strength over a traditional copper vapor cooling system while also offering up to 50 percent increased cooling power.
The phone also has support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. To further have a premium feel to the smartphone, Realme has also provided an IPX4 water-resistant build.
The Realme X7 Max 5G houses a 4,500mAh battery with support for 50W SuperDart Fast Charging. The phone comes bundled with a 65W Fast Charger. Using the bundled charger, Realme claims the phone can be charged from 0-50% in just 16 minutes. The phone also supports reverse wireless charging at 2.5W. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 158.5×73.3×8.4mm and weighs 179 grams.
Realme X7 Max 5G Pricing And Availability In India
The Realme X7 Max 5G has been launched in India carrying a price tag of Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The price of the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant has been set at Rs. 29,999. The phone will be available in Asteroid Black, Mercury Silver, and Milky Way color options.
Realme also announced that the phone will be going on sale in India from 12pm on 4 June and will be available to purchase in India through Flipkart, Realme.com, and major offline stores.
The phone is also part of the company’s ‘Real Upgrade Programme’. Under the programme, the person buying the phone can upgrade the phone at the end of one year and get 70 percent of its price.
