Realme Buds Wireless 2 Announced: Price, Specifications and More

Realme hosted its AIoT event earlier this week and launched Realme Buds Wireless 2 and Realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker apart from the Realme Watch 2 Pro. The wireless earphones are the successor to the Realme Buds Wireless launched 3 years back. This time, the earphones come with Active Noise Cancellation apart from the Sony LDAC codec as well.

Realme Buds Wireless 2 Specifications And Features

The Realme Buds Wireless 2 features 13.6mm Bass Boost Drivers. The earphones also come with Sony LDAC Bluetooth technology that can transmit three times more audio data than traditional methods along with more detailed and clearer sound. The earphones also come with Hi-Res-certified audio. The company also claims that they have invited the international band, ‘The Chainsmokers‘ to create the all-new Bass Boost+ bass enhancement solution present in these earphones.

The major highlight of these earphones is the presence of Active Noise Cancellation. The earphones support Active Noise Cancellation of up to 25 dB. This can easily block out most everyday low-frequency noise according to Realme.

The Realme Buds Wireless 2 also makes use of Vocplus AI Noise Cancellation for calls. This AI technique makes use of deep learning and computational analysis of auditory scenarios, Vocplus distinguishes and extracts voices from the surrounding noise. And then the sound you hear during calls will be free of any of these disturbances and only the sound of the call will be heard.

The earphones also come equipped with a Professional R2 noise cancellation chip. The chip is said to combines powerful performance, ultra-low power consumption, and stable connectivity for a new and improved wireless experience.

Apart from the noise cancellation, the Realme Buds Wireless 2 also comes with Transparency Mode. This mode when enabled allows the surrounding sound and noise to reach the ears easily. This can be enabled and very useful when crossing roads, talking with someone, etc without even the need to remove the earphones.

Realme Buds Wireless 2 also come with a Gaming Mode, that can achieve latency as low as 88ms. This enables the users to not miss a moment and not have any kind of delays, especially during gaming sessions. Users can also adjust and customize the equalizer presets using the Realme Link app.

The earphones also have a magnetic back that can be used to easily connect them and carry while also acting as the power switch to turn the earphones on. It also supports Google Fast Pair to quickly pair with any new device. It also comes with a dedicated Active Noise Cancellation button. That button when double pressed can be used to switch from the currently connected device to the previously connected device.

Realme Buds Wireless 2 also comes with IPX5 Water resistance allowing them to easily be work during gym sessions. The earphones have a curved neckband and skin-friendly liquid silicone that weighs only 29 grams and hence easy and comfortable to be worn.

The earphones come with Dart Charge Technology. This is the same technology as in Realme smartphones. Using it, the users can obtain 12 hours‘ worth of playback time with a charge of just 10 minutes. The earphones when fully charged can provide 22 hours of playback.

Realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker Specifications And Features

For the first time, Realme has also announced its Bluetooth Speaker with the launch of Realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker. The Bluetooth speakers come with 3W Dynamic Bass Boost Driver offering Stereo pairing as well. The speakers also provide three equalizer presets and comes with super-low latency of just 88ms.

The Bluetooth speaker also has a microphone that can be used to attend calls. It comes with an IPX5 rating for splash resistance. It has a compact design with a weight of just 113 grams.

The Realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker houses a 600mAh battery that can be charged using a USB Type-C port. The company claims the speakers can provide up to 6 hours of playback on one full charge.

Realme Buds Wireless 2 & Realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker Pricing And Availability

The Realme Buds Wireless 2 has been launched in Malaysia carrying a price tag of RM99 (approx Rs. 1,745). It will be sold having a launch discount with the effective price at launch being RM49 (approx Rs. 865). The earphones will be available in Kandi Black, Kandi Green, and Kandi Blue colors. It goes on sale in Malaysia from 6th June.

The Realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker has been announced and will be launched in the Maylasian markets at a price of RM79 (approx Rs. 1,395). The Bluetooth speakers will be available in Classic Black and Desert Grey color options.

There is no information so far regarding the availability and pricing of both devices in the Indian markets.
