Realme to Launch Its Flagship Smartphone With MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC in India

Realme has launched its first smartphone with Dimensity 1200 SoC recently in China which supports 5G. Current vice President of Realme Global and CEO of Realme India and Europe, Madhav Sheth has announced on Tuesday at the MediaTek Technology Diaries that the new Realme GT Neo could be launched in India soon. The Dimensity 1200 SoC is a high-end flagship processor designed for 5G network and it is expected to encounter Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888.

Other than Dimensity 1200 SoC, the Realme GT Neo comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. It also comes with a triple rear camera setup that has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor and has 65W fast charging. The Realme GT Neo is priced at CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs. 20,700) for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.

Camera: Realme GT Neo on the rear has a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.3 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The other connectivity options of the mobile include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, NFC and USB On-The-Go. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting wired headsets. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. Realme GT Neo runs on Android v11 Operating System.
