Redmi has launched the Redmi Smart TV X Series in India. This latest LED TV series range from Xiaomi comes with Android 10 for smart connectivity and with support for HDR up to 12-bit Dolby Vision format. The TV series range comes in three sizes- 50 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches. All three sizes have 4K HDR LED screens. The series also comes with PatchWall UI along with the stock Android TV UI.
Redmi Smart TV X Series Specifications And Features
The Redmi Smart TV X Series comes loaded with features. The series supports HDR10+ formats and Dolby Vision for high dynamic range content. Redmi also claims the TV to come with Reality Flow and Vivid Picture Engine which is claimed to improve the viewing experience of users.
Coming to sound, the TV supports several audio formats. The supported audio formats include Dolby Audio for the inbuilt speakers, Dolby Atmos pass-through over eARC, and DTS Virtual:X.
The TV series is powered by the 64-bit quad-core Mediatek processor. It also has 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of storage space for apps and data in these apps. Redmi has also provided an auto low-latency mode (ALLM) for better performance with gaming.
For connectivity, the Redmi Smart TV X Series has three HDMI 2.1 ports with one supporting eARC, two USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, optical and 3.5mm audio connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.0. It also has Chromecast built-in. It is also the first TV series range from the company to have the Mi Home app for IoT products supported on the TVs.
In terms of the UI, this range of TV series from Redmi runs on Android 10 TV OS with stock Android TV launcher with access to Google Assistant. The TV can be used to access PatchWall UI, which is Xiaomi’s content-focused, curated user interface.
Redmi Smart TV X Series Pricing And Availability In India
The Redmi Smart TV X Series is an affordable range of Smart TV series from the company in India. The series comes in 3 size options with the 50-inch model named X50 is priced for Rs. 32,999 while the 55-inch option, X55 is available for Rs. 38,999. The most expensive offering in this range of TV is the 65-inch model called X65 and will be sold in India for Rs. 57,999. Other than the size there is no difference between the three models.
The TV will be going on sale in India from March 25 and can be bought from Amazon, the Xiaomi online store, as well as Mi Home and Mi Studio offline stores.
