Samsung S Pen Pro Launched Alongside Galaxy S21 Series

Samsung has launched the Samsung S Pen Pro as it launched its latest flagship, the S21 series devices. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the first smartphone in the Galaxy S series from the South Korean manufacturer that will be having support for a stylus. The pen to be launched is a pencil-sized stylus which is much larger than any similar stylus from the company yet. Because of its size, the pen won’t be able to fit within the case of the device.

Samsung has not revealed other information regarding the S Pen Pro such as the pricing, availability, and detailed specifications. However, it is expected to be launched later this year. The company has not even revealed the exact size of the upcoming pen. Although, in the promo of the device, it was placed alongside the previous generation S Pen. The size of the Pro variant is much bigger and there will be problems in carrying the stylus along with the smartphone.

The devices that will support the S Pen Pro includes other S Pen-capable devices that run on One UI 3.1. The pen will make use of Bluetooth which will enable users to use air actions and perform tasks such as camera shutter, or to change the music.

The list of devices that can be used using the upcoming pen from Samsung includes Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Tab S6, and Galaxy Tab S7 devices.

Now coming to the pricing of the pen, there is no information from Samsung regarding the same. The previous-gen stylus from the company, S Pen was priced at $40 (approx Rs. 2,900) as a separate accessory. While it was available with the case of Galaxy S21 Ultra with a price tag of $90 (approx Rs. 6,500).

Going by this, the new S Pen Pro will be likely priced more than this and is expected to be individually sold for $55 (approx Rs. 40,000).
