Vivo V20 Launched In India: Price, Specifications And Features

Vivo has launched the Vivo V20 smartphone in India. The smartphone is the latest offering from the Chinese manufacturer having a triple camera on the back. The phone is interestingly the first phone in the country to come with Android 11 out of the box. The phone also includes a 33W Fast Charging support and a waterdrop style front camera display. The device was launched globally last month.

Vivo V20 Specifications

The Vivo V20 features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9, a pixel density of 409 PPI, and has a screen to body ratio of 83.7%. The phone is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G Processor. The GPU in place is the Adreno 618. The phone has 8 GB of RAM and onboard storage space of 128 GB.

In terms of optics, the phone has a triple camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 64-Megapixel primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.89. The phone also has an 8-Megapixel Ultrawide camera with a field of view of 120-degree and an aperture of f/2.2. Finally, a 2-Megapixel Monochrome depth sensor camera having an aperture of f/2.4.

On the front, the phone has a 44-Megapixel camera having an aperture of f/2.0. The front camera is also capable to take video at 4K resolution at 30 FPS. Other features offered by the selfie camera include Steadiface Selfie Video, Super Night Selfie 2.0, Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, and Multi-Style Portrait.

For connectivity, the phone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint reader in place. Other sensors included in the phone are an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

The phone packs a 4,000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. It supports 33W Fast Charging as well. It weighs 171 grams and has a thickness of 7.38mm.

Vivo V20 Pricing in India And Availability

The Vivo V20 has been priced in India starting at Rs. 24,990 for its 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. While the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant will cost Rs. 27,990 in the country. The phone has three colors- Midnight Jazz, Moonlight Sonata, and Sunset Melody.

Although the phone goes on sale in India from October 20, the pre-booking for the device starts from today. Online, the device will be sold in India through Flipkart and Vivo India’s Online platform. While the phone will also be available in partner Vivo retail stores very soon as well.

The company also announced that the Vivo V20 SE is “coming soon” in the country.
