Realme Smart SLED TV Launched In India: Price, Specifications And Features

Realme has launched the Realme Smart SLED TV in India today through an online event. The company claims the TV is the first SLED 4K TV in the world. It is said to provide a flagship-level cinematic experience at an affordable price. The TV has a 55-inch Bezel-less display with a metal design.

Realme Smart SLED TV Specifications And Features

The Realme Smart SLED TV comes with a 55-inch 4K Ultra HD display. It is said to feature a Cinematic Display with 1.7 billion colors. The display panel used in the TV is Realme’s proprietary screen having a screen to body ratio of 94.6%. The TV is said to deliver an NTSC color gamut of up to 108 percent.

In traditional LED display panels, they make use of a single white backlight and it also goes to the RGB filters. But Realme has used a new panel which uses an SPD backlight with RGB LED lights at the back. By doing so, the display of the TV can produce a higher color gamut which the company claims is as good as in a QLED display panel.

Realme has also added native color tuning to the Smart TV. It will work along with the built-in Chroma Boost Picture Engine to optimize the color production from the display. Moreover, there are also 7 different display modes that users can select based on the content they are watching. The display modes include Standard, Sport, Game, Vivid, Energy Saving, User, and Movie. For low blue light emission, the LED TV has a TUV Rheinland certification.

The Realme Smart SLED TV comes with a Quad-Core MediaTek SoC having a 1.2GHz Cortex-A55 CPU coupled with Mali-470 MP3 GPU along with 16GB of inbuilt storage.

In terms of audio, the TV has a 24W quad stereo speaker system. The speaker also makes use of Dolby Audio technology to produce an immersive audio experience.

For connectivity, the TV has three HDMI ports, two USB ports, one AV out, one Ethernet port, and a headphone jack. In terms of wireless options, it has  Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi support, and Infrared. It also comes with support for Google Assistant.

The Realme Smart SLED TV has been priced in India for Rs. 42,999. Although, Realme will be selling the TV at an introductory cut price of Rs. 39,999 in its first sale. The TV is will be available only for pre-bookings starting from 12am on October 16 through Flipkart and Realme.com.
