Vivo S1 Prime is the latest mid-range smartphone launched by Vivo in Myanmar. The S1 Prime mid-range smartphone is actually the rebranded version of the recently launched Vivo S1 Pro. The two devices are almost similar to each other. However, the front-facing camera on the new S1 Prime has been downgraded.

Pricing And Availability
As stated earlier, Vivo S1 Prime is presently launched in Myanmar and Vivo hasn’t revealed any information about the launch of this smartphone in other international markets. Nebula Blue and Jade Black are the two color variants of the smartphone. Vivo S1 Prime retails for a price of MYR 389,800 which roughly translated into Rs. 21,700. Do note that there’s only one 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage version of this device.
S1 Prime will start shipping in Myanmar starting 15th August. You can purchase it from the official Vivo website.
Vivo S1 Prime: Specifications And Features
Although the S1 Prime smartphone has a plastic construction it looks clean and quite sturdy. For those interested in dimensions here you go 159.25×75.19×8.68mm. The 6.38-inch AMOLED display on this smartphone has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Sadly, there’s no Gorilla Glass protection on this device. The waterdrop notch on this device houses the 16 MP front-facing camera.
S1 Prime runs on the old Android 9 Pie out of the box and there’s Funtouch OS 9.2 custom skin as well. The Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC accompanied by Adreno 610 GPU powers this mid-range device. For security, Vivo has relied on an under-display, optical fingerprint sensor.
Surprisingly, there’s a 3.5mm audio jack on this smartphone. The quad-camera setup on this smartphone consists of a primary 48 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a depth sensor of 2-megapixel.
The smartphone is backed up by a 4,500mAh battery and it supports 18W fast charging.
