iQoo U1 With 120 Hz Refresh Rate, Triple Camera Setup Launched: Price, Specifications and More

iQoo, sub-brand of Vivo, has launched its latest budget smartphone, the iQoo U1 in China. The device features a triple camera setup, punch-hole front camera, and an Octa-Core Processor. This phone is iQoo’s cheapest smartphone launched yet.

iQoo U1 Specifications and Features

iQoo U1 features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) display. The display features a 120 Hz refresh rate, a screen to body ratio of 90.72 and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The phone is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 720G processor with the Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The smartphone has a triple camera rear setup. The primary camera is a 48-Megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.79. The secondary camera is the 2-Megapixel depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. The third camera on the phone is a 2-Megapixel Macro Camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is an 8-Megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.05 aperture and on the top left of the screen as a hole-punch cutout.

The connectivity option on iQoo U1 is dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port. The device also has a dual-SIM (nano) slot. Interestingly, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The phone is run by a 4,500mAh battery. The phone also supports 18W fast charging and OTG reverse charging. The sensors in place are proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and compass.

The device measures 162.05×76.61×8.46mm and weigh 190 grams.

iQoo U1 Pricing and Availability

iQoo U1 has been launched in China and will be put on sale from July 23. The phone comes in 3 storage and RAM variants. The cheapest variant is the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage variant priced at CNY 1,198 (approx Rs. 12,900). While the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant has a price tag of CNY 1,398 (approx Rs. 15,000). And the most expensive variant iQoo U1 is the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant which will be sold for CNY 1,598 (approx Rs. 17,200).

There are three color options for the smartphone which have been named Secret Black, Star Blue, and Sunny Forest White. There is no information regarding the India launch or pricing of the device yet.
