How To Get Watch Dogs 2 PC Game For Free! [Update: Don’t Worry If You Missed Out Earlier]

Update (July 13, 2020): Ubisoft Forward virtual event was held yesterday, and as promised by Ubisoft, all attendees were given a free copy of the game Watch Dogs 2. But due to server issues, the free game couldn’t be processed by Ubisoft and so they have made the game free for all users who register on the Ubisoft Forward page. You can do so by registering on this link.


Earlier (July 9, 2020): Ubisoft the creator of the game Watch Dogs 2, is all set to host it’s first all-digital conference, the Ubisoft Forward on July 12. Ubisoft is the company behind many successful games such as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, The Division, Assassin’s Creed series, Watch Dogs to just name a few. And so any conference from them is something to look out for any gaming enthusiast.

The stream for the event kicks off at 11:00 AM PDT (11:30 pm IST) July 12. The company will discuss the news and content from games like Trackmania, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint, Just Dance 2020, The Division® 2, and more with the start of the event.

While later at around 12:00 PM PDT (12:30 IST July 13) with the main show, details for the games like Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape, and Ubisoft have also said: “there a few surprises in store.”

To get the free copy of Watch Dogs 2 all you have to do is follow these simple steps:

  1. Download Ubisoft’s Uplay Launcher and create a Ubisoft account beforehand.
  2. During the launch on July 12, with your registered account, Log in to the Uplay launcher or the official Ubisoft Website between 18:30 UTC (12 am IST July 13) and 20:30 UTC (2 am IST July 13)
  3. Your Game will be delivered to you on the day after the event that is 13 July 2020.

Ubisoft has also mentioned, if you tune in for the entire event you will have a “chance to earn additional in-game rewards”.
