Realme Watch With Touch Display, Heart-Rate Monitoring Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Features

On Monday, Realme launched its new smartwatch, ‘Realme Watch’ in India. It is the first smartwatch from the company in India. The smartwatch comes with colour touch display with 12 preloaded watch faces. The company promised to offer more than 100 watch faces via Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.

The new smartwatch supports heart-rate monitoring via a dedicated photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor. With real-time heart rate monitoring via PPG sensor, the watch can record heart rate every five minutes and will alert the user under certain conditions (For example, if the heart rate is lower or higher than the normal heart rate limit).

The watch also supports SpO2 monitoring which tracks the blood oxygen levels which can be useful in this coronavirus pandemic time. It also features 14 sports mode.

Realme Watch: Price in India, Sale Date

• Realme Watch price in India is Rs. 3,999. It will come in Black colour option with silicon straps. Silicon straps come in classic design (black coloured strap) and fashion design (blue, red and green coloured straps).
• The smartwatch will be available for purchase via Flipkart & realme.com starting June 5 at 12 PM noon in India.
• Realme fashion design wrist straps are priced at Rs. 499 each.

Realme Watch: Specifications and Features

Now coming to the specifications, Realme Watch sports a 1.4-inch Touch colour LCD display with 320×320 pixels resolution, 323 PPI, 380 nits brightness and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Connectivity suite of the smartwatch includes Bluetooth 5.0 to connect the smartwatch to the smartphone via realme Link app. The sensors onboard the watch are 3-axis accelerometer, PPG sensor, Heart rate sensor and Rotor Vibration motor. It also supports 20nn removable wrist straps.

Realme Watch battery capacity is 160mAh. As per the company, the smartwatch is capable of delivering seven days of battery life when the heart-rate monitor is turn on and nine days of battery life when the heart-rate monitor is turned off. It also comes with Power-saving mode which can deliver up to 20 days of battery life. The watch measures 256×36.5×11.8mm and weighs 31 grams.
