Redmi 7 Global Launch Set for March 18 Along With IoT Smart Products

A few days back, Xiaomi announced that it will launch Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in China on March 18. Now, the company confirmed that it will also launch Redmi and new smart products as well.

To recall, Redmi Note 7 Pro is already launched in India last week. It comes with 4000 mAh battery, 48MP camera setup, Snapdragon 675 SoC, P2i Water protection and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. These things are also teased by Xiaomi.

The teaser image has Redmi logo written using several products which include fan, web camera, smart camera, washing machine or vacuum cleaner and also a smartphone. Xiaomi is known for selling various IoT (Internet of Things) products under Mi Ecosystem or Mijia (in China). As of now, there is no other information leaked about IoT products.

Redmi 7 Specifications and Price (Expected):

As per leaked specifications by TENNA listing, the Redmi 7 sports 6.26-inch LCD Waterdrop Notch display with HD+ resolution. It is based on Android 9.0 Pie on the top MIUI 10. The phone runs on octa-core Snapdragon 632 processor. It comes with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM options.Redmi 7 Launch

In optics, there is a dual rear camera setup, the first camera includes a 12MP sensor and the second camera includes a 5MP sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor. It has LED flash on the back.

In terms of storage, the smartphone comes with 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage. Connectivity suite includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-USB port. The sensors on board the handset are infrared (IR) blaster and rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Redmi 7 battery capacity is 3,900 mAh. The handset measures 158.65×76.43×8.47mm and weighs 180 grams.

Redmi 7 price starts at CNY 900 (roughly Rs. 9,300). It will come in Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Pink, Purple, Red, and White colour options.
