On Wednesday, Vivo launched its new smartphone, ‘Vivo V15 Pro’ in India. The smartphone is first to launch in India.
The latest smartphone sports a Super AMOLED Display, Pop-Up Selfie Camera, Snapdragon 675 SoC, In-Display Fingerprint sensor and much more. This is the first smartphone in the world to sport a 32MP Pop-up Selfie Camera.

Vivo V15 Pro: Price in India, Sale Date and Launch Offers
- Vivo V15 Pro price in India is Rs. 28,990 for the 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant.
- The smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall, Snapdeal, Vivo India Online Store and offline retail stores starting March 8. Pre-orders starting from today, February 20. It will come in Topaz Blue and Ruby Red colours.
- Launch offer includes 5 percent cashback on HDFC Bank Cards, One Time Screen Replacement and Rs. 0 down payment with IDFC First Bank.
Vivo V15 Pro: Specifications and Features
Now coming to the specifications, Vivo V15 Pto sports a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Ultra FullView Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) resolution. Based on Android 9.0 Pie on the top of Funtouch OS 9, the phone runs on 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 AIE processor with Adreno 612 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM options. The smartphone has the support of Dual-SIM (Nano+Nano).
In optics, there is a triple rear camera setup, the first camera includes a 48 Million Quad Pixel 1/2.25″ sensor (12MP Effective Pixel) with f/1.8 aperture, the second camera includes a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and the third camera includes an 8MP AI Super wide angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 32MP Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone has an LED flash on the back.
When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 128GB internal storage and microSD card support upto 256GB. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and Micro-USB port. The sensors on board the handset are accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and in-display fingerprint sensor. Vivo V15 Pro battery capacity is 3,700mAh with the support of Dual-engine fast charging tech. The handset measures 157.25×74.71×8.21mm and weighs 186 grams.

- Rear camera feature includes AI Super Night Mode, AI Body Shaping and AI Portrait Lighting.
- Front camera feature includes portrait lighting effects, AI-based beautification and face unlocking.
Author’s Opinion
Vivo V15 Pro can be said a value flagship smartphone which has some high-end specifications. The display provided is large enough for multimedia consumption and is very appealing to the eyes. The configuration of the device seems great in terms of multitasking or playing games. The triple rear camera setup at the back and pop-up camera at the front can be the major plus point of this smartphone as on-paper it seems very promising.
Talking about the competition in this price range of around 29K, the real competitors of this smartphone are Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), Nokia 8.1, Honor 10, Poco F1 8GB, Asus Zenfone 5Z and LG G7 ThinQ. So, the competition in this price range is very high.
If compared with the competition, the smartphone is offering different features like latest Snapdragon 675 SoC, 32MP Front Camera and in-display fingerprint sensor.
Overall, We recommend Vivo V15 Pro to buy in this price range. However, at the time of writing this article, our first recommendation will be Poco F1 (Flash Review).
