Smartphone giant Samsung’s flagship devices Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have started receiving over-the-air (OTA) update in India which brings many improvements and new features such as Wi-Fi calling support.

Reports from users indicating that the update is currently rolling out in India and we expect it to be available for all the users by the end of this week. Users can manually check for the update via Settings > About Phone > System Update. The new update comes with software build G930FXXU1BPIO/G935FXXU1BPIO for both the smartphones.
The size of the update is less than 150MB for both the devices. The latest update brings bug fixes, stability improvements, enhanced features and further performance improvements, according to the update release notes. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge also get Wi-Fi calling support and September Android security update with this latest update.
In August, Samsung dropped the prices of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in India. Both flagship devices got price cuts of Rs. 5,000 each in the country. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is available for purchase at Rs. 43,400 in India and Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a price tag of Rs. 50,900.
Samsung launched both the smartphones with price tag of Rs. 48,900 and Rs. 56,900.
