Nokia brand licensee HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia G42 5G in India on September 11, adding to its 5G smartphone lineup. This new edition of Nokia G-series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and is powered by a robust 5,000mAh battery.
Notably, the Nokia G42 5G will be manufactured in India and will be available for purchase on Amazon later this week. It was initially introduced in select markets in June this year.

The Nokia G42 5G is priced competitively at Rs. 12,599 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is offered in two attractive colors: So Gray and So Purple. Indian consumers can buy this smartphone from September 15 exclusively on Amazon.
In Europe, the Nokia G42 5G was introduced in June with a price tag of EUR 199, approximately Rs. ₹20,800 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.
