OnePlus intends to remove the “Pro” from its upcoming flagship series, according to two distinct and trustworthy tipsters. Thus, the OnePlus 11 will be the name of the brand’s forthcoming flagship phone.
Earlier, OnePlus skipped the OnePlus 10 and instead made the OnePlus 10 Pro the top-tier model in the series. Being a flagship device, the OnePlus 11 will undoubtedly have top-notch specifications, but a leaked render also depicts a significant overhaul.
The OnePlus 11 will feature a round camera island with three sensors and an LED flash module, according to a Weibo post by a tipster DCS. The camera island has Hasselblad engraved directly in the middle, suggesting that OnePlus is still working with the camera manufacturer. The tipper claimed that “PHB110” is the model number of the OnePlus 11 engineering prototype. The OnePlus 11’s commercial model may have a different model number.
OnePlus 11 Specifications (Leaked)
The flagship OnePlus 11 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch curved screen display with an LTPO panel and a 2K (3216×1440 pixels) resolution. In a modest divergence from the current design, which places the punch-hole in the dead centre, the proposed design may feature a hole in the upper left corner. The display would also have an embedded fingerprint sensor. The alert slider appears to be returning with a new level, and the frame would still be made of metal.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is expected to be launched in December, may power the OnePlus 11 flagship. There could be a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor in the camera system on the rear. The brands of their sensors are unknown at the moment, but based on the company’s track record, the primary camera may feature a Sony sensor, possibly the Sony IMX615 found in the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The OnePlus 11 might have a 5000mAh battery, which would essentially be made up of two 2500mAh bi-cell batteries. According to reports, this battery system supports 100W fast charging, which is a little less than the 150W charging technology that made its debut on the OnePlus 10T earlier this year. The T models in the series may get faster charging only, according to OnePlus. The OnePlus 11 will probably likely come with Android 13, however, rumours have indicated that it may potentially run an older version of OxygenOS 13 based on Android 12.
