Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Launched in India

Samsung recently launched Galaxy A22 5G in India. The phone is launched in the mid-range market and comes with a triple rear camera setup, 11 5G bands, support for Dolby Atmos through wired and wireless earphones, and various other features.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes in two variants. The base variant of the phone is 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant which is launched at Rs.19,999. The second variant is the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant, which comes at Rs. 21,999. Moreover, the phone will be launched in three colors- grey, violet, and mint.

The phone went on sale on July 25 and will be available for purchase via Samsung.com and various leading online portals. There will be a Rs. 1,500 cashback through HDFC debit and credit cards and EMI options through various banking and NBFC partners.


Samsung Galaxy A22 5G: Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top of it. It comes with a 6.6inch FHD+ Infinity-V display. The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Talking about the camera, the phone has a triple rear camera setup. The main camera of the phone is the 48MP primary sensor. The other two cameras include a 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The 8MP front camera sits in the water-drop notch on the front.

The phone has connectivity options including 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGP, and USB Type-C port. There are 11 5G bands on the phone and support dual nano-SIM. Moreover, there is a microSD card slot for expandable memory up to 1TB.
