How To Transfer Money From US to India Using Google Pay (Gpay)

Google Pay has now enabled the feature of sending money from the United States to their friends and families in India and Singapore. This formally marks Google’s arrival into the remittance services market. Google has collaborated with Western Union and Wise to permit the new service through the Google Pay app.

Even though foreign transfers through Google Pay are now limited to India and Singapore, Google is planning to expand its services to around 280 countries worldwide. Google Pay is expecting to attract a big number of migrants in the US with the latest feature. The news was first communicated by TechCrunch.Google Pay Money Transfer

Google in its blog post mentioned that it is collaborating with Western Union, which will provide unlimited free transfers when transferring money with Google Pay until June 16. The free transfer will be provided by Wise for new customers on transfers up to $500, approximately Rs. 36,700. Moreover, Google has not yet officially confirmed the exact transfer amount that the service providers will impose after their beginning free offerings.

As per the TechCrunch report, the foreign transfers through Google Pay are constricted to individual users. This suggests that the app does not allow you to transfer money from the US to any business platforms in India or Singapore. Another fact is that the users in India are also not provided with an option to transfer money to the US through the Google Pay app.
