Realme GT India Launch Teased on Twitter: Expected Specifications & Features

Realme’s latest flagship smartphone, the Realme GT, was unveiled in China in March of this year. A month later, the business debuted the Realme GT Neo, a more economical version of its flagship. While the GT Neo will be available in India under the Realme X7 Max brand, there is no official word on when the GT will be available. With a recent tweet, Realme has officially hinted at the debut of the Realme GT in India.

“With our upcoming #realmeGT, we are among the first brands to support Android 12 Beta 1,” Realme India tweeted earlier this month. The fact that the tweet was sent by Realme’s Indian subsidiary and states “upcoming Realme GT” definitely suggests that the smartphone will be released in India soon.

Realme would not have made the message from its official Twitter account for India if it wasn’t planning to introduce the GT in India. If our speculations are correct, this is the first official teaser in India.

However, the debut date of the device in India is unknown at the moment. The Realme X7 Max India debut was previously delayed due to the country’s COVID-19 crisis. The smartphone’s launch date has yet to be announced by Realme. It’s quite likely that the GT will be released together with the X7 Max in India. But that is simply supposition on our part.

Specifications and Features

The 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display on the smartphone has a Full-HD+ resolution, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 120Hz refresh rate.   A 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor are all included on the smartphone’s rear. A 16MP selfie camera is included.

The Snapdragon 888, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, powers the smartphone. In China, the phone comes in 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB versions. On the software front, the smartphone runs on the Android 12 Operating system and has Realme UI 2.0 Customization. The smartphone boasts a 4,500mAh battery and 5G connection, as well as 65W fast charging.
