Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy F02s, Galaxy F12 as its latest offering in the budget segment. Both the smartphones are part of the Galaxy F-series of the company. Both these devices come with a waterdrop-style display notch. The F02s come with a triple camera setup on the back while the F12 has a Quad rear camera setup.

Samsung Galaxy F02s Specifications And Features
The Samsung Galaxy F02s features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Infinity-V Display. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a pixel density of 270 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 81.8%. The device has a glass front with a plastic back and frame.
The phone runs on Android 10 based One UI. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone also has up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB onboard storage. The phone also has a microSD card slot to expand the storage to up to 1 TB.
Now coming to the cameras, the phone has a triple camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 13-Megapixel lens with an aperture of f/2.2. Then there are also two 2-Megapixel Depth sensor and Macro lens each having an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 for selfies and video calls.
The device’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also packs a 5,000mAh Li-Po battery with 15W Fast Charging support. The phone measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 196 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy F12 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Infinity-V Display just like the F02s. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a pixel density of 270 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 81.9%. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The smartphone runs on Android 11 based One UI 3.1. It is powered by the octa-core Exynos 850 SoC coupled with Mali-G52 GPU. The phone also has 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot to upgrade storage to up to 1 TB.
In terms of optics, the phone has a Quad rear camera setup. The primary sensor is a 48-Megapixel camera lens having an aperture of f/2.0. The phone also has a 5-Megapixel ultrawide camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device has a 2-Megapixel Depth camera lens with an aperture of f/2.4. And lastly, the smartphone also has a 2-Megapixel Macro camera sensor having an aperture of f/2.4. For selfies and attending video calls, the phone has an 8-Megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.2.
For connectivity, the phone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint reader on the phone with other sensors such as an accelerometer and proximity sensor.
The device also houses a huge 6,000mAh Li-Po battery with support for 15W Fast Charging. Samsung claims the phone can easily last for an entire day on one full charge. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 164 x 75.9 x 9.7 mm and weighs 221 grams.
Samsung Galaxy F02s, Galaxy F12 Pricing And Availability In India
The Samsung Galaxy F02s has been priced starting at Rs. 8,999 for the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage option. The price for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant is set for Rs. 9,999. The device has been launched in Diamond Black, Diamond Blue, and Diamond White color options.
The Samsung Galaxy F12 will be sold in India for Rs. 10,999 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage option. The most expensive smartphone from this series is the 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage configuration available for Rs. 11,999. The phone will be available in Celestial Black, Sea Green, and Sky Blue color options.
Both the smartphones will be sold in India through Flipkart, Samsung.com, and other select offline retailers. The Samsung Galaxy F02s will be available in the country from 12 pm on April 9. While the Samsung Galaxy F12 goes on sale in India from 12 noon on April 12.
