Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition Launched: Price, Specifications & More

Realme has launched the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition as the latest variant in the Realme X7 series. Realme launched the Realme X7 Pro 5G and the Realme X7 5G in India back in February earlier this year. This device is a slightly tweaked version of the phone launched earlier. The phone has a triple camera setup on the back along with a 90Hz refresh rate display, up to 12 GB of RAM, amongst select major features.

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition Specification And Features

The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The display also has a 90Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of up to 360Hz, 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and a screen-to-body ratio of 92.1%. The phone also has a curved display.

The phone runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. There is also up to 12 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of onboard storage. The phone also has VC liquid cooling to maintain the temperature of the device even during extended gaming sessions.

In terms of cameras, the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition has a triple camera setup on the back unlike the Quad camera setup on the Realme X7 Pro version. The primary camera sensor is a 64-Megapixel lens having an aperture of f/1.8. There is also an 8-Megapixel Ultra-Wide-Angle camera sensor having an aperture of f/2.25. Lastly, there’s also a 2-Megapixel Macro shooter having a 4cm focal length and an aperture of f/2.4.

The missing camera in this edition is the 2-Megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone has a 32-Megapixel camera sensor having an aperture of f/2.5 for taking selfies and attending video calls.

Coming to the connectivity options, the phone includes dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. For enhanced audio experience, the phone also makes use of stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.

The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W Fast Charging. The extreme edition has been made lighter and slimmer by Realme as the phone measures 159.9×73.4x.7.8mm and weighs 170 grams.

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition Pricing And Availability

The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition has been priced starting at CNY 2,299 (approx Rs. 25,600) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option. While the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant will be sold carrying a price tag of CNY 2,599 (approx Rs. 29,000) in China. The phone will be available in the Black Forest and Castle Sky color options. The device is available to be purchase in China through Realme’s official website.
