Vivo has launched the Vivo X60 series smartphones in India. Vivo X60 Pro+, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 have been launched as part of the latest offering from the company. The smartphones were launched in China back in December of last year, but they finally come into the Indian markets now. The phones also feature a Quad camera setup on the back.

Vivo X60 Pro+ Specifications And Features
The most premium offering of the series, the Vivo X60 Pro+ features a 6.56-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 398 PPI, a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and a screen to body ratio of 92.7%. The screen also comes with Schott Xensation Up screen protection.
The phone runs on the Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11.1. The device is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC along with the Adreno 660 GPU. The phone has 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and for storage, it has 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Now coming to the cameras, the phone has a Quad camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 50-Megapixel GN1 sensor having an aperture of f/1.57 and support for optical image stabilization (OIS). There is also a 48-Megapixel Sony IMX 598 sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and Gimbal stabilization. The phone has a 32-Megapixel Telephoto camera sensor having an aperture of f/2.1 and an 8-Megapixel periscope telephoto lens with an aperture of f/3.4. For selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 32-Megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.45 on the front.
For connectivity, the phone has 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. There is an in-display fingerprint reader while other sensors provided include an accelerometer, color temperature sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and a laser focussing sensor.
The smartphone packs a 4,200mAh Li-Po battery with support for 55W Fast Charging. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 158.59×73.35×9.10mm and weigh 191 grams.
Vivo X60 Pro Specifications And Features
The Vivo X60 Pro also comes with the same 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display as the ‘Plus’ variant. The only difference is the presence of Schott Xensation Up protection on the front while a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the back.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with the Adreno 650 GPU. The phone also has 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone has a Triple camera setup on the back unlike the Quad cameras in the Plus version. The primary sensor is a 48-Megapixel Sony IMX 598 sensor with Gimbal stabilization having an aperture of f/1.48, a 13-Megapixel Ultrawide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, and lastly a 13-Megapixel Portrait camera lens with an aperture of f/2.50. On the front, there is a 32-Megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.45 on the front.
The connectivity options on the phone are quite identical to the premium variant with the only difference being the absence of NFC and Bluetooth 5.1 instead of Bluetooth 5.2 on the Vivo X60 Pro+.
Now in terms of battery, the phone packs a 4,200mAh Li-Po battery just like the Plus variant but the difference is that this phone supports just 33W Fast Charging. In terms of dimensions, the Midnight Black variant of Vivo X60 Pro measures 158.58×73.24×7.59mm and weighs 177grams while the Shimmer Blue variant measures 158.58×73.24×7.69mm and weighs 179 grams.

The Vivo X60 has the exact same 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display as the ‘Pro’ variant including the protection. Even this phone is powered by the same Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with the Adreno 650 GPU. The phone also has up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone has the same triple camera setup as the Vivo X60 Pro but with a slight cut down in the primary sensor. This device has the same 48-Megapixel Sony IMX 598 sensor has OIS built-in with an aperture of f/1.79 but without Gimbal stabilization. Apart from this the other two camera sensors and the front camera are the exact same in the two smartphones.
Apart from this, the phone also has the same sensors and Connectivity options along with an identical battery and Fast Charging compatibility as well. In terms of dimensions, the Midnight Black variant of Vivo X60 Pro measures 159.63×75.01×7.36mm and weighs 176 grams while the Shimmer Blue measures 159.63×75.01×7.4mm and weighs 177 grams.
Vivo X60 Pro+, Vivo X60 Pro, Vivo X60 Pricing And Availability In India
The most premium of the three, the Vivo X60 Pro+ will be sold for Rs. 69,990 for the only 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model. It is available in Emperor Blue vegan leather finish.
The Vivo X60 Pro is also available in only one option which is the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant having a price tag of Rs. 49,990. The phone is available in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue color options.
Lastly, the cheapest offering of the series, the Vivo X60 comes in two options, the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model that will be sold for Rs. 37,990 while the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage option has a pricing of Rs. 41,990. It is also available in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue color options.
The prebooking for the smartphones is already on but will be made available in the country for purchase from April 2. The company has collaborated with HDFC Bank to provide 10 percent cashback with HDFC Bank Debit, Credit, and EMI transactions on pre-booking the phones.
