Samsung Galaxy M12 Launched: Price, Specifications, And More

After months of speculations, the successor of the M11, the Samsung Galaxy M12 has finally been released. Although any official launch or reveal is still not done, the phone was listed on Samsung Vietnam’s official website. This does mean the official launch of the device is also on the cards. The phone has a quad-camera setup on the back along with a waterdrop-style display, a 6,000mAh battery, and a lot more. The smartphone also has an all-new metallic back that has micro motifs and soft-curved edges for a better grip in the hand.

Samsung Galaxy M12 Specifications And Features

The Samsung Galaxy M12 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) TFT Infinity-V Display. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is powered by the octa-core Exynos 850 SoC. It would be running on Android with One UI Core on top. The phone is also said to have 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM options.

Coming to cameras, the Samsung Galaxy M12 has a Quad Camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 48-Megapixel sensor having an f/2.0 aperture lens. There is also a 5-Megapixel secondary ultrawide camera sensor with a field of view of 123-degree and an aperture of f/2.2.

There is also a 2-Megapixel macro camera shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. And lastly, a 2-Megapixel depth sensor having an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the camera is placed in the middle of the waterdrop-style display. The front camera is an 8-Megapixel camera sensor having an aperture of f/2.2.

Coming to connectivity options, the Samsung Galaxy M12 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has onboard storage options of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB while there is also a dedicated microSD card slot to expand storage to up to 1TB.

The sensors present on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone also houses a huge 6,000mAh battery claimed by Samsung to last for up to 58 hours of talk time on a 4G network. The phone also supports 15W Adaptive Fast Charging. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 164.0×75.9×9.7mm and weighs 221 grams.

Samsung Galaxy M12 Pricing And Availability

As of now, the Samsung Galaxy M12 hasn’t been officially revealed from Samsung. The phone has just been listed on Samsung Vietnam’s official page. The pricing details of the phone are also not known yet. The device will be available in Attractive Black, Elegant Blue, and Trendy Emerald Green color options. The Indian launch and availability of the device aren’t known yet.
