Infinix Smart 5 Launched In India: Price, Specifications And Features

The budget smartphone manufacturer, Infinix has launched its latest offering, the Infinix Smart 5 in India. The phone houses a huge 6,000mAh battery claimed to have up to 50 days of standby time. The phone has already been launched globally earlier back in August of 2020 but the Indian version has been launched just now. There are slight differences between the Indian and global versions of the smartphone. The device is the new offering from the company after the launch of Infinix Smart 4 launched in November last year.

Infinix Smart 5 Specifications And Features

The Infinix Smart 5 features a huge 6.82-inch IPS HD+ display with a Drop Notch design. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 20.5:9, a peak brightness of 440 nits, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.66%.

The smartphone comes powered by the Octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC that is claimed to deliver a clock speed of up to 2.0GHz. It runs on the company’s XOS 7 UI on top of the Android 10 OS in place of the device. The phone also has the PowerVR GE8320 GPU in place. The device has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.

Coming to the camera setup in place, the phone has a dual-camera setup on the back. The sensor in place is the 13-Megapixel dual AI rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8. There is also a low-light sensor and a quad-LED flash. For further enhancing the picture taking ability through the device, the camera also has a slo-mo, Bokeh mode, and AI HDR feature. On the front, the phone has an 8-Megapixel AI Selfie camera having an aperture of f/2.0 and LED flash.

The smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity. There is also a microSD card slot to expand storage to up to 256 GB. For security, the phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor and also a face unlock feature.

The biggest highlight of the smartphone is the huge battery as it houses a 6,000mAh battery claimed to provide up to 50 days of standby time. The company also claims the phone can last for 23 hours of video playback, 53.4 hours of 4G Talk time, and 14 hours of gaming time. The company has also included a Power Marathon Tech to boost battery life by about 25%.

Infinix Smart 5 Pricing And Availability In India

The Infinix Smart 5 has been launched in India carrying a price tag of Rs. 7,199 for the sole 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant. The phone will be available in Aegean Blue, Morandi Green, Obsidian Black, and 6° Purple color options. The smartphone will be exclusively sold in India through Flipkart. The e-commerce platform has also created a special dedicated page for the smartphone.
