Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 Fitness Band Launched In India: All You Need To Know

Samsung has launched its latest fitness band, the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 in India. The fitness band was unveiled in Samsung’s ‘Life Unstoppable virtual event’ earlier this month. Samsung has also taken inspiration from Apple and also introduced the Hand Wash feature in the watch. The watch also has an AMOLED display and 15 days of battery life.

Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 Specifications And Features

The Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 features a 1.1-inch (126 x 294 pixels) AMOLED display having a peak brightness of 450 nits. The display is on a 3D curved glass. The band is powered by 2 GB of RAM and also has 32 GB of onboard storage.

The watch has about 70 different watch faces which can be downloaded and used on the fitness band. Apart from these watch faces, the band also has as many as 12 dedicated widgets that can be used by the user.

When it comes to fitness tracking, the watch can automatically detect 5 activities while the other 90 workouts can be selected by the user by using the Samsung Health app. Other insights such as heart rate, distance traveled, and calorie burnt by the user can also be tracked using the watch.

The watch also can be used to monitor sleep and comes with Sleep Score Analysis which analyses the user’s sleep automatically and grades it under the criteria of Awake, REM, Light, and Deep.

Apart from this, the watch also has Stress Tracking which can provide the stress level of the user and intimate the user whenever the stress level is high and suggest a breathing guide to help get the stress if the user back to normal.

The fitness band also is IP68 water-resistant to up to 5 ATM making it ideal to be worn in gyms, and shower. Other sensors on the watch also include Gyro, Photoplethysmography, and Accelerometer sensors. The watch makes use of Bluetooth v5.1 and can be paired with any phone with Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above.

The fitness band houses a 159mAh battery which is claimed by Samsung to last for 15 days on regular usage and up to 21 days in minimal usage. The fitness band measures 46.6 x 18.6 x 11.3mm and weighs 21 grams with the strap.
