Recently, Canon has launched the Canon EOS M50 Mark II mirrorless camera in India. The first generation M50 that was launched almost two years ago was quite popular among enthusiasts and professionals. Well, the upgrades offered in the second generation model are minor but they are useful nonetheless. So here’s everything you need to know about the Canon EOS M50 Mark II.

Available in Black and White color variants the body of Canon EOS M50 Mark II will retail for a price of Rs. 58,995. As of now, Canon hasn’t unveiled the availability date of the camera but it will be available sometime in December.

As stated earlier, Canon has offered minor upgrades on the camera. Furthermore, the overall construction and button layout of the camera remains highly unchanged. The EOS M50 Mark II still retains the 384-zone metering 24.1-megapixel CMOS sensor with ISO 100-25600 that was found on EOS M50. Do note that the ISO is expandable to up to 51200.
Powered by DIGIC 8 image processor the camera can record 4K video at 24 frames per second. As expected the camera comes with the Canon EOS M mount and to use EF and EFS lenses you have to separately purchase an adapter.
Now talking about the upgrades Canon has added eye-tracking autofocus for stills and videos. As a result, users will notice improvements in auto-focus speed and reliability. Moreover, the camera now offers better vertical video shooting support and webcam capability.
EOS M50 Mark II also offers wireless YouTube Livestream support. Video recording formats supported by the camera are 4K recording at 3840×2160 pixels at 25fps/ 23.98fps, full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) at 59.94fos/ 50.00fps/ 29.97fps/ 25.00fps/ 23.98fps, and HD (1,280×720 pixels) at 59.94fps/ 50.00fps. For wireless connectivity the EOS M50 Mark II uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
