Realme V3 With Triple Rear Camera Launched; Said To Be Cheapest 5G Phone: Price, Specifications And More

Realme has launched the Realme V3 in China which is the company’s cheapest 5G enabled phone yet. The phone comes with some very interesting features at a very aggressive price. The phone has a triple camera setup on the back and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC. The phone has a waterdrop notch on the front for the camera.

Realme V3 Specifications And Features

The Realme V3 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 270 PPI. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a screen to body ratio of 81.6%. The phone runs on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. The device is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC and Mali-G57 MC3 GPU coupled with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

In terms of optics, the phone has a triple camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 13-Megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. Other cameras on the rear include a 2-Megapixel macro camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and lastly a 2-Megapixel depth sensor lens with an aperture of f/2.4. For selfies, the phone has an 8-Megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.0.

For connectivity, the Realme V3 has 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

Realme has provided a fingerprint sensor on the back. Other sensors in place include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery along with an 18W Fast Charging support. The phone measures 164.4x76x8.6mm and weigh 189.5 grams.

Realme V3 Pricing And Availability

The Realme V3 has 3 different RAM and storage configurations. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant has been priced at CNY 999 (approx Rs. 10,700). The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,399 (approx Rs. 15,000). While the most expensive variant of the series with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs. 17,100). The phone will be launched in Blue and Silver color options.

The pricing of the phone is for China as it has been launched only in China so far. The first sale of the device is on September 17. There is no information regarding the global pricing and launch of the phone yet.
