Infinix Smart 5 With Massive 5000mAh Battery Announced: Specifications And Pricing

Chinese smartphone maker Infinix has launched its new budget-oriented device the Infinix Smart 5 globally. Initially, the smartphone will be available in India and Nigeria. However, the exact launch-dates haven’t been revealed yet. Since Infinix Smart 5 is a low-end device it runs on Android 10 (Go edition).

As you might or might not know, the Android go edition is dedicated to smartphones with fewer system resources, and it is designed to work flawlessly on these devices. So here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched Infinix Smart 5.

Pricing And Availability

The Smart 5 smartphone will be available in blue, black, and green color variants. As of now neither the pricing nor the exact launch dates have been revealed by Infinix. We will update this section as soon as the information becomes public.

Similar to most budget-oriented smartphones, Smart 5 has a plastic back and plastic frame. Luckily, Infinix hasn’t cut any corner in the display department as the smartphone sports a big 6.6-inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Clearly, the device is ideal for anyone whose primary source of media consumption is a smartphone.

The device is powered by a 1.8Ghz unspecified octa-core processor. 2GB RAM with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM with 64GB storage are the two RAM and storage variants of this smartphone. The storage on this device can be expanded using a microSDXC card. Sadly, the triple-camera setup on the device is purely gimmicking as expect the 13MP primary sensor the other two sensors are QVGA. Lastly, there’s an 8MP selfie camera.

For security, there’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the smartphone. The last noteworthy feature of Infinix Smart 5 is the massive 5000mAh battery and it supports 10W fast charging.
