Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 sports a premium construction and a majority of design elements seem to be inspired by its predecessor. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes in 44mm and 40mm models with a 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch curved Super AMOLED screen. The round Super AMOLED panel on this smartwatch is ideal for reading the information in bright sunlight. This display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX+.

One of the major highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is its touch-sensitive bezels. These bezels allow users to interact with the UI of this smartwatch by moving their fingers in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.

This smartwatch is compatible with Android phones running on Android 5.0 or above and with more than 1.5GB RAM. Moreover, it’s compatible with iPhone 5 and above running iOS 9.0 or above. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 has almost every major sensor like a heart-rate sensor, ECG sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and ambient light sensor.

The new & upgraded One UI offers a natural user experience and it’s fairly simple to navigate through the UI of this smartwatch. Furthermore, users can even choose and customize the watch faces as per their preference. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 offers Spotify integration which helps users to access their entire Spotify playlist from the smartwatch. Lastly, users can download and install many different fitness and health-related apps on this smartwatch.

Presently, this smartwatch can manually track more than 39 workouts coupled with seven automatically activated workouts like running, walking, cycling, swimming, rowing machine, elliptical machine and dynamic workouts. Using Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare feature this smartwatch can be charged from a Galaxy S10 smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Aluminum version is available in Silver Cloud, Aqua Black and Pink Gold colour variants with Fluoroelastomer (FKM) band. While the Stainless Steel version comes in Silver, Black and Gold colour options with a leather strap. The pricing for different WiFi and LTE versions are listed below.
