Xiaomi might soon upgrade it’s budget-oriented Redmi 7 series. The Chinese tech giant has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi 7A smartphone in India on 4th of July on Flipkart.

One of the primary reasons behind Xiaomi’s success in India is competitive pricing. Xiaomi has gained immense popularity in India by offering better specifications at a relatively cheaper price point than the competition. The Redmi 7A follows the same business model.

The Best Budget-Oriented Smartphone

Recently, Xiaomi stated that the company had sold more than 23.6 million units of Redmi 4A, 5A, and 6A combined till April 2019. The latest addition to the Redmi A series, i.e. the Redmi 7A might perform similar to its predecessors in terms of sales.

Redmi 7A sports a complete plastic construction that looks fairly sturdy considering its price. Additionally, the smartphone is stated to be splash resistant. The Redmi 7A will be available in Matte Black and Morning blue colour variants, and fortunately, the Redmi 7A still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Redmi 7A’s 5.45-inch HD display is perfect for media consumption. About a month ago, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7A in China. After teasers, Flipkart has finally confirmed that the Redmi 7A will launch in India on 4th of July.

As for pricing, the base variant of this smartphone with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage will retail for 549 yuan which roughly translates to Rs. 5,500.
