On Friday, Asus launched its new smartphones, ‘ZenFone Max Shot and ZenFone Max Plus M2’ in Brazil. The smartphone is launched under the ZenFone series lineup. Both are the world’s first smart smartphones to come with Qualcomm’s new System-in-Package (SiP) processor.
The only difference between these both smartphones is that the Zenfone Max Shot comes with an extra 8MP wide-angle camera at the back while the Zenfone Max Plus M2 will simply have a LED flash in that spot.
ZenFone Max Shot, ZenFone Max Plus M2: Price, Sale Date
- Zenfone Max Shot price starts at BRL 1,349 (roughly Rs. 24,200) for the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant and BRL 1,549 (roughly Rs. 27,800) for the 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant.
- Zenfone Max Plus M2 price starts at BRL 1,299 (roughly Rs. 23,300) for the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant.
- Both smartphones will be available for purchase starting today i.e March 15 in Brazil. Both will come in Silver, Black, Red and Blue colour options.
- Availability, pricing for India and other markets is yet to be announced.
ZenFone Max Shot, ZenFone Max Plus M2: Specifications and Features
ZenFone Max Shot:
Now coming to the specifications, ZenFone Max Shot sports a 6.26-inch Display with 19:9 aspect ratio and Full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) resolution. Based on Android 8.1 Pie on the top of near stock ZenUI, the phone runs on 14nm 1.8GHz Snapdragon SiP 1 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB RAM options. The smartphone has the support of Dual-SIM (nano+nano+microSD).
In optics, there is a triple rear camera setup, the first camera includes a 12MP sensor, the second camera includes an 8MP wide-angle sensor and the third camera includes a 5MP depth sensor.
On the front, there is a 5MP sensor. The phone has LED flash on the back.
When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 32GB/64GB internal storage with support of microSD upto 256GB. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2 LE, GPS and micro-USB port. The sensors on board the handset are accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and rear-facing fingerprint sensor. ZenFone Max Shot battery capacity is 4,000mAh. The handset measures 159.2×76.2×8.4mm and weighs 165 grams.
