Redmi Note 7 Pro or Galaxy A50?

Redmi Note 7 Pro and Galaxy A50 are priced very differently. Redmi Note 7 Pro is available at starting price of Rs. 13,999 whereas Galaxy A50 is available at starting price of Rs. 19,990. So the comparison is not fair but if we compare then Redmi Note 7 Pro is far better than Galaxy A50. It completely beats A50 in performance but lack of availability because of online flash sales can divert some users to A50 which is easily available in the offline and online market as well. Also, Galaxy A50 looks way better than Note 7 Pro.

Redmi Note 7 Pro or Mi A2 For Camera?

Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with dual camera setup which includes a 48MP Sony INX586 sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. Front camera includes a 13MP sensor. On paper as well as in our test Redmi Note 7 Pro beats Mi A2 in camera performance.

Is Redmi Note 7 series better than Galaxy M series?

We played one of the most popular game, PUBG Mobile on Note 7 Pro. PUBG ran smoothly at high graphics. The performance was very good and the gameplay was great. We played the game for about one hour and the device handled the game smoothly without any lag. In about one hour of gameplay, the battery only drained 28% which is great.

How is the PUBG performance on Redmi Note 7?

Also on Note 7, PUBG ran smoothly at medium graphics. At high graphics, we noticed some frame drops but still, the smartphone managed the game on high graphics as well. In about one hour of gameplay at medium graphics, the battery only drained 23% which is great as well.

Snapdragon 660 or Kirin 710?

Both processors can be said as equally good. There is no major difference in real life. In benchmarks, both scored almost similar scores. Kirin 710 is more efficient than Snapdragon 660 as the former processor is based on the 12nm process whereas the latter processor is based on 14nm process. Both are similar in CPU performance but there is a difference in GPU performance as Kirin 710 is clocked at 650 MHz whereas Snapdragon is clocked at 850MHz.

To make it simple, in layman terms, Snapdragon 660 will give you better performance in gaming but for daily use, both processors are equally good.

Durability of Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7?

Both smartphones come with glass on the back. The front and back glass are protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for durability.

Is 48MP Camera on Redmi Note 7 Pro is real or software based?

Yes, rear camera on Redmi Note 7 Pro is a true 48MP camera. The sensor used in the camera is Sony IMX586. But by default, you will be able to capture only 12MP photos from Auto Mode. To capture a 48MP photos users will have to manually enable it via 48MP option in Auto Mode or Pro Mode.

As per Xiaomi, they did not enable 48MP camera option by default because every photo captured by the 48MP camera will be of 15MB-20MB size which will require high storage on device whereas photos captured by the 12MP camera will be of only 4MB-5MB size.

Snapdragon 675 is a new processor by Qualcomm which is between Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 710. Snapdragon 675 retains all features of 660 but it is based on different architecture. It has 2 powerful and 6 efficient kyro 460 cores at up to 2.0GHz and it incorporates Adreno 612 GPU. It is even more efficient than Snapdragon 710. It even scores better scores in benchmarks than Snapdragon 710. So we think it is the best processor for mid-range smartphones.

Benchmarks scores of Redmi Note 7 Pro?

Many users asked benchmarks score of Snapdragon 675 which is present on Redmi Note 7 Pro.

In AnTuTu benchmark test it scored 181,346. In Geekbench, it scored 2296 in single core and scored 6108 in multi-core.

Both smartphones are available on Flipkart or Amazon?

Both smartphones are available only on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.

Is it good to buy Note 7 Pro or wait for Poco F2?

If your budget is around 20k or more and you have time to wait till May this year then you should definitely wait for Poco F2. If your budget is below 15k, then you should go with Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Is there any fast charging in Note 7 Pro or Note 7?

Both smartphones support Qualcomm QuickCharge 4+ but it comes with bundled 10W regular charger in-the-box. In order to fast charge, you have to buy a separate Qualcomm certified fast charger.

Redmi 6 Pro or Redmi Note 7?

Redmi 6 Pro was launched in September last year under Redmi 6 series. It comes with old Snapdragon 625 processor and it has below average camera. Also, it follows traditional trends and quite old now for the price of 9K (launched at 11k).

On the other hand, Redmi Note 7 is available for 10k and follows all modern trends, comes with the latest processor, good pair of cameras and great glass design.

Out of both, Redmi Note 7 is far better than Redmi 6 Pro.

Redmi Note 7 Pro or Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2?

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is the most recommended smartphone by us. It was launched at a starting price of 13k but just after the announcement of Redmi Note 7 Pro, Asus reduced the price by 3k on all variants of Zenfone Max Pro M2 which make it even better than before. It outperformed every other device at that time in our flash review.

Redmi Note 7 Pro is a great competitor and at our some tests it outperformed Zenfone Max Pro M2. However we are still reviewing the Redmi Note 7 Pro, so we will suggest you to wait for our full flash review.

Hybrid SIM Slot or not?

Both Note 7 Pro and Note 7 comes with hybrid sim slot i.e. it supports either two SIM cards or one SIM card & one microSD card at a time.

Are the trustable, as they bend and break in bend test?

We did saw some YouTubers doing the bend test on Redmi Note 7 (which was Chinese variant) and in that test the smartphone completely broke during bend test.

But that was all fake and was done intentionally. If you vow to do something, you will definitely do it.

Both Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro are pretty much strong and won’t break or bend easily.
