Author’s Opinion

The Realme 3 is a budget smartphone which is priced under 10k segment. The 3D gradient design of smartphone looks good but it is not glass as seen on Redmi Note 7. The battery capacity is very impressive but the company made a direct comparison of 4,230 mAh battery with 5,000 mAh battery on Galaxy M20 and Zenfone Max Pro M2.

Talking about the competition in this price range of around 10K, the real competitors of this smartphone are Redmi Note 7, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Samsung Galaxy M20, Realme U1, Realme 2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2. So, the competition in this price range is good enough.

If compared with the competition, the smartphone is not offering anything special, the display is not Full-HD+ which almost every competitor is offering, there is no USB Type-C port or fast charging support which is available on both Galaxy M20 & Redmi Note 7. The camera department is where we have to test a little bit.

Overall, We don’t recommend Realme 3 to buy in this price range. However, at the time of writing this article, our first recommendation will be Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 (Flash Review).
