On Thursday, Samsung launched its new budget smartphone, ‘Galaxy A10’ in India. The smartphone is launched under new improved ‘Galaxy A series’ along with ‘Galaxy A30‘ and ‘Galaxy A50‘.
The latest smartphone sports an Infinity-V Display, Single Camera Setup, Exynos 7884 SoC, 3400 mAh Battery and much more.

Samsung Galaxy A10: Price in India, Sale Date
- Galaxy A10 price in India is Rs. 8,490 for the 2GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant.
- The smartphone will be available for purchase via all major online and offline stores starting March 2. It will come in Red, Blue and Black colour options.
Samsung Galaxy A10: Specifications and Features
Now coming to the specifications, Samsung Galaxy A10 sports a 6.2-inch Infinity-V Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and HD+ (720×1520 pixels) resolution. Based on Android 9.0 Pie on the top of Samsung OneUI, the phone runs on octa-core Exynos 7884 processor. It comes with 2GB RAM option. The smartphone has the support of Dual-SIM (Nano+Nano+microSD).
In optics, there is a 13MP camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture. On the front, there is a 5MP camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone has an LED flash on the back.
When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 32GB internal storage and microSD card support upto 512GB. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-USB port. The sensors on board the handset are accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor. Samsung Galaxy A10 battery capacity is 3,400mAh. The handset measures 155.6×75.6×7.94mm and weighs is not revealed.

Author’s Opinion
The Samsung Galaxy A10 is a budget smartphone. The smartphone comes with decent specifications for the price. The storage via microSD is more than enough for keeping a large amount of data. At our first impressions, the display seems promising but No dual camera setup, No fingerprint sensor and an old processor can be a deal breaker for some people.
Talking about the competition in this price range of around 8K, the real competitors of this smartphone are Samsung Galaxy M10, Redmi 6 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Asus Zenfone Max M2, and Realme C1 (2019). So, the competition in this price range is good enough.
If compared with the competition, the smartphone is not offering anything extra or unique. Samsung’s own Galaxy M10 is offering Dual camera setup and much more.
Overall, We don’t recommend Samsung Galaxy A10 to buy in this price range. However, at the time of writing this article, our first recommendation will be Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
