On Monday, TCL launched Blackberry KEY2 LE launched in India and it will be Amazon exclusive. The company said that this smartphone is for “physical keyboard enthusiasts” because it comes with Blackberry QWERTY Keyboard. The company is also touting that this is the most secure smartphone in the country.

- Blackberry KEY2 LE price in India is Rs. 29,990 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant.
- The smartphone will be exclusively available for purchase via Amazon starting October 12. The smartphone will only come in Space Blue colour.
Blackberry KEY2 LE Specifications and Features
Now coming to the specifications, Blackberry KEY2 LE sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD Display with 3:2 aspect ratio and full-HD+ (1080×1620 pixels) resolution. The smartphone has pixel density of 434ppi along with screen-to-body ratio of 56.04 percent. Based on stock Android 8.1 Oreo, the dual-SIM (Nano-SIM Hybrid Slot) phone runs on the 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with only in 4GB RAM option.
In optics, there is a dual rear camera setup with 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. In the front, it comes with an 8-megapixel fixed focus camera sensor. The front camera comes with full-HD recording support. The phone has dual-tone LED flash on the back and a screen flash on the front.
When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 64GB of internal storage and microSD support up to 256GB. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and more. The sensors on board the handset are accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and fingerprint sensor on the spacebar. The Blackberry KEY2 LE battery capacity is 3,020mAh with 18W Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The handset is listed in Space Blue colour, measures 150.25×71.8×8.35mm and weighs 156 grams.
The Blackberry KEY2 Lite comes with a physical qwerty keypad which is very rare now. With the decent features it has been provided with, it is likely to get a good response from the Blackberry fans. The cameras also come with good features that can render good photography experience.
However, the latest trend demands a bigger display (some with Notch) which can give great visual experience and this might fail to fulfil that.
Overall, this phone has decent specification but price-to-specification is just not satisfied. If you are blackberry fan and still wants QWERTY physical keypad on your smartphone, you can go for it.
