Author’s Opinion
Samsung Galaxy J4+:
The Samsung Galaxy J4+ is a budget smartphone which tried to offer a lot according to Samsung’s perspective like 6-inch Infinity Display, a decent battery of 3,300 mAh but eventually failing among the competition if compared with the price tag.
It does impress with rear camera performance whereas front camera performance is average. Samsung is still using older-gen Snapdragon 425 processor where other competitors like Realme is using Snapdragon 450 SoC in its realme 2.
Overall, if you are a Samsung fan, wants only Samsung smartphone and your budget is around Rs. 10,000 then Galaxy J4+ is the only device you can pick. Otherwise, Go with Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (3GB RAM variant) at Rs. 10,999.
Samsung Galaxy J6+:
The Samsung Galaxy J6 is a mid-range device and the problem with this smartphone is the pricing. For a price of Rs. 15,990, Snapdragon 425 is just not acceptable. Providing 4GB RAM is not the solution if the processor is weak and old.
Apart from weak and old processor, Galaxy J6+ lacks a full-HD+ display which is provided by most the other smartphone companies.
Overall, the Galaxy J6+ is not for anyone, not even Samsung fans. So, if your budget is around Rs. 15,000 – Rs. 16,000, go with Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (6GB RAM variant) or you can also wait for realme 2 pro which is launching with 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 660 processor on September 27.
