Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro were launched by Xiaomi last month. At launch, they were available via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores, by Xiaomi had said they would become available via its offline retail partners soon. The Redmi Note 5 is now available for pre-bookings via offline stores, deliveries starting March 8. Interested buyers can pre-book the Redmi Note 5 via brick-and-mortar shops with a pre-booking amount of Rs. 2,000, a source in retail reveals.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will also go up for sale via offline retail partners soon. There is a slight – Rs. 500 – premium to pay over the online price when buying from partner stores, with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 price (MOP) via third-party offline retail stores set at Rs. 10,499 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB model, and going up to Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant. Online, the smartphone’s price is set at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant and goes up to Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. As mentioned, buyers will likely have to pay a sum of Rs. 2,000 to confirm the booking.
Similarly, Redmi Note 5 Pro buyers might have to pay Rs. 500 premium on the announced price of the handsets. The Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India via online sales starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 16,999.
