Jio Plans Updated: The Full List of New Prepaid and Postpaid Recharges

UPDATE (18 September 2018): Jio has updated some of the plans silently like number of days validity increased or per day data capping increased.

UPDATE (26 January 2018): Reliance Jio increases per day data limit of its plans from 1GB to 1.5GB data per day and from 1.5GB to 2GB data per day. All at the same price.

UPDATE (9 January 2018): Reliance Jio cut the prices of its plans with 1GB data per day by up to Rs. 60 as part of a new Happy New Year 2018 offer. Apart from this price cut, Jio also launched a host of plans with 1.5GB data per day as part of the exercise.

UPDATE (29 December 2017): Jio has added two new plans to its roster, giving customers more affordable prepaid plans with a daily data allowance of more than 1GB. Jio is calling the two prepaid options it’s Happy New Year 2018 plans.

Reliance Jio plans have been updated as part of a tariff revision in Diwali. As promised by Jio, most of the plans are updated. The recent Jio plan revision is applicable to both prepaid and postpaid plans and came into effect on October 19, the day of Diwali. While some plans have been eliminated, others have been added to the roster, but the biggest shocker is that the Rs. 399 plan has seen its price rise by 15 percent. Postpaid users will also get shorter validities under the new Jio tariff revision, and both prepaid and postpaid subscribers have get 64kbps post-FUP speed, down from 128kbps.

Jio Prepaid Plans

Rs. 9,999

The most expensive Jio plan for prepaid users, the Rs. 9,999 recharge pack gives customers 750GB data for 360 days, without any daily FUP. Free voice calls and SMSes and complimentary access to the company’s apps are part of the package.

Rs. 4,999

The Rs. 4,999 pack has validity of 360 days and gives the user 350GB of high-speed data. There’s no daily limit on the data consumption with this plan either. Jio is offering unlimited calls (on roaming as well), 100 free SMSes per day, and subscription to its apps free with the pack.

Rs. 1,999

With validity of 180 days, the Rs. 1,999 plan offers users 125GB data, without any consumption cap. All the other freebies, such as the free calls and SMSes and apps subscription, are available with this plan too.

Rs. 999

Jio’s Rs. 999 plan provides 60GB of data for 90 days, again, with no restrictions on how much data you can consume in a day. The freebies stay here too.

Rs. 799

Jio’s Rs. 799 plan is its most expensive one with a daily cap – it comes with 5GB data per day and validity of 28 days. This amounts to 140GB data over the course of the validity period. You will get the free calls and other freebies with this pack too.

The Rs. 509 Jio plan comes with 4GB of data per day, and validity of 28 days. This amounts to 112GB data over the course of the validity period. You will also get the free calls and SMSes and Jio apps subscription with this plan.

Rs. 498 UPDATED

New plan for prepaid users, this one gives you 182GB data for 91 days at 2GB per day for Rs. 498. You will get the free calls, SMSes and Jio apps with this pack.

Rs. 449 UPDATED

The Rs. 449 Jio plan comes with 1.5GB data per day and the freebies, with validity of 91 days. You will also get the free calls, SMSes and Jio apps with this pack.

Rs. 448 UPDATED

Another plan for prepaid users, this one gives you 168GB data for 84 days at 2GB per day. You will get the other benefits like free calls, SMSes and Jio apps with this pack.

With the price revision, the company is giving 84 days of validity now instead of the 70 days it was giving so far. Other details, such as the 1.5GB data allocation per day and freebies remain the same.

Another New plan for prepaid users, this one gives you 140GB data for 70 days at 2GB per day. You will get the other benefits like free calls, SMSes and Jio apps with this pack.

The Jio Rs. 349 plan still comes with 1.5GB data per day which gives you 105GB data for 70 days and the other freebies.

The 299 plan with 3GB of high-speed data every day for 28-days gives subscribers 84GB of total data for the validity period. All other benefits are the same in plan.

Available with 28-day validity, the Jio Rs. 98 plan comes with 2GB data. You will get the free calls and subscription to the company’s apps, but the free SMSes are limited to 300 texts for the entire validity period.

Then there’s the Rs. 52 pack with 7-day validity with 150MB daily high-speed data cap, totalling 1.05GB data. Buyers will get 70 free SMSes, free calls and access to Jio apps with this pack.

This plan comes with 150MB data and validity of one day. With this pack, users will get free calls, 20 SMSes and apps subscription for the day.

Jio Postpaid Plans

Rs. 199 NEW

The Rs. 199 postpaid plan comes with 25GB data and no restrictions on how much data be used in a day.  After 25GB usage it will cost Rs.20 per GB. Subscribers of this plan will also receive free calls and text messages, as well as Jio apps access. Rs. 250 refundable security deposit is mandatory.
